A MESSAGE TO THE STARS

"A Message to the Stars" is a sensitive ballad for solo trumpet, solo trombone and wind orchestra that takes the listener on an emotional journey through calm and thoughtful tunes. The work was commissioned by two brothers, who played the solo parts at the premiere, in memory of their late mother. The piece is characterized by gentle melodies and warm harmonies intended to express both comfort and hope. The accompanying wind orchestra supports the soloists with sensitive chords and gentle rhythmic figures that reinforce the emotional weight of the piece. The varied instrumentation and dynamic variations create a constant flow of emotion and expression that is intended to touch the hearts of the listeners.
