DURCH ALLE WETTER!

"Durch alle Wetter!" ("Through all weather") was a commissioned composition by the Musikkapelle Wangen for their 225th anniversary. Essentially, it is divided into three parts. In the first, I describe the anniversary itself, with a lively, lively theme. Since the concert was one of the first to be possible again after the Corona-related pause, the motif is reminiscent of a bird being released from its cage after a long time. In the middle section, the religious aspect of the music band is emphasized. A kind of ecclesiastical aria is introduced by a flugelhorn solo. In the third lively part the legendary "Bartlmä-Fest" is described, which is traditionally held by the music band, until finally in the final part all themes are taken up once again.
