RAIKAPRICCIO

Raikapriccio was commissioned for the 125th anniversary celebration of Raiffeisenkasse Ritten, which took place in 2017. As the word creation Raikapriccio already suggests, it is a Capriccio, divisible into 4 "movements". It begins with a powerful fanfare, which soon turns into a quiet anthem. It continues with a rocky middle section, which then leads into the third movement, a melodious chorale. Finally the piece ends with a rapid swing. The work was written for "slimmed down" brass band, an arrangement for further instrumentations follows.
