AVIA

AVIA was commissioned by the wind band Musikkapelle Afing and dedicated to Christoph Reiterer for his 10th anniversary as the conductor of the band. The piece describes these last 10 years in a musical manner. They where shaped by hard but productive development process, blows of fate, but primarly todays enthusiasm and pleasure.
The first performance took place on 18th May 2013, by the Musikkapelle Afing under the beat of Christoph Reiterer.
