VOLKSLIED - RELOADED

I composed VOLKSLIED - RELOADED ("Folk song - Reloaded") for a composition competition in Vorarlberg/Austria. The incorporation of some given local folk songs was mandatory, so i decided to use four of them: "Schwegelpfeifermarsch", der "Montafoner Nationaltanz", "Monferine" aand "Wunderschön - Prächtige". The different songs are elaborated are rhythmically and harmonically extremly varied, and merge into each other.
The piece won the special price for the best composition with grade 1-3.
